개요

Everest is a Nepalese restaurant serving up cuisine from India, Tibet, and Nepal. Opened since 2002 it's highly regarded as one of the best places in Korea to get a curry. The large restaurant has ample room for all, and a big table in the center which can accommodate large groups.
Located in Dongdaemun, it's the perfect place to check out after a hard days shopping at the markets and to get away from the hustle and bustle of the crowds. As well as the sit in restaurant they also offer a to go service for those who want a takeaway.

메인 메뉴

The menu is large offering up all popular Indian style appetizers like samosas and pakodas. They have range of different styles of curries are available such as vindaloo, masala, tika, and korma all featuring, chicken, lamb or vegetarian option. Their home baked nan breads are especially good too, I recommend the garlic one. And don't forget to try the lassi if your curry is too hot.

Everest is a real stalwart of the curry community and has been an ex-pat favourite for years. I have visited on various occasions but have now only just gotten around to writing a post for it. Although well known, as being the best Indian in Seoul, there are still plenty of you who have never heard of this gem hidden in a small alley in Dongdaemun. The menu has more or less everything you would expect and more, curries of chicken, mutton, and paneer. Appetisers such as samosa, pakoras, rice, noodles, and sides dishes galore.
