[SunQ Pass Options]

Southern Kyushu
Ideal for travelers interested in exploring southern Kyushu, including vibrant cities like Kagoshima and the natural wonders of Miyazaki and Kumamoto.
Coverage	Unlimited travel on highway buses, city buses, and ferries (1 sea route) within 3 prefectures: Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima
Validity	Continuous 3-day

Northern Kyushu + Shimonoseki/Nagato
Recommended for visitors focusing on northern Kyushu This pass allowing for exploration of cities such as Fukuoka and Nagasaki, as well as scenic spots in Oita and Kumamoto.
Coverage	Unlimited travel on highway buses, city buses, and ferries (3 sea routes) within 5 prefectures: Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Kumamoto, and Oita, plus Shimonoseki/Nagato in Yamaguchi Prefecture. As of July 1, 2025, the SUNQ Pass will no longer be valid for express bus services between Fukuoka and Nagato Yumoto Onsen. For travel on this route, please make a separate reservation and purchase a regular fare ticket. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Nagato can also be accessed via a regular Sanden Kotsu route bus from Shimonoseki.

This pass allows for a comprehensive exploration of all of Kyushu and the Shimonoseki/Nagato area, making it perfect for covering a wide range of attractions across the entire region.
Coverage	Unlimited travel on highway buses, city buses, and ferries (4 sea routes) throughout 7 prefectures: Fukuoka, Saga, Nagasaki, Oita, Kumamoto, Miyazaki, and Kagoshima, plus Shimonoseki/Nagato in Yamaguchi Prefecture. As of July 1, 2025, the SUNQ Pass will no longer be valid for express bus services between Fukuoka and Nagato Yumoto Onsen. This offer is not available to Japanese passport holders.
Children aged 12 and above will be charged the same rate as adults.
Children not occupying a seat can travel free of charge.
The name on the pass must match the traveler's name.

[About Validity]

One day during the usage period is calculated from 3:00am to 2:59am the following day.
(For night buses, the departure date and time of the bus will be considered the day of use, and the pass remains valid until the bus reaches its destination.)

If you use your first ticket within the expiration date (within 3 months), the remaining tickets will be valid for:

- 2-day pass: 3 days from the date of first use
- 3-day pass: 5 days from the date of first use
- 4-day pass: 7 days from the date of first use

Activation can only be done once per day. If you tap the "Use" button between 3:00am and 11:59pm, the ticket will be valid until 2:59am on the following day. However, if you activate it between 12:00am and 2:59am, the ticket will only be valid until 2:59am on the same day, so please take note.

[About Luggage]

Baggage must not exceed 2 meters in total dimensions (length, width, and depth) or 30 kg.
The size and number of carry-on baggage/personal belongings are limited per person.

[About Seat Reservation]

Local buses and ferries do not require seat reservations.
Some highway buses may require seat reservations, which can be made up to one month in advance.
Seats on highway buses can be reserved online, by phone, or at service counters throughout Kyushu.
If you have made a reservation for an express bus that requires seat reservations, please be sure to receive a “reservation ticket” at the counter before boarding and arrive at the bus stop on time.

FAQ

How can I confirm that my reservation was made properly?

A mobile ticket will be sent to you via email 1 week before your visit. If you buy the ticket less than 7 days before your visit, the ticket will be sent to you within 1-2 days. This email will include the reservation details and a voucher with a link to your digital ticket.

How do I use the voucher on the day of my reservation?

The voucher with the link to your digital ticket will be attached to the final confirmation email. On the day of use, tap the link to access your ticket. Please ensure you start using the ticket before boarding the bus.

How do I make a reservation for an express bus?

When using express buses, seat reservations are required on certain routes. For details, please click here.
