1,100 High Ground 천백고지

'1,100 High Ground (Road)' links Jejusi and Jungmun.
It is the highest national highway in Korea. It's about 1100meters above the sea level.
You can see the rocks in fantastic shapes and the top of mountain Halla. Also, it's very famous for foliage in autumn and snowy view in winter.
In addition, if you are interested in a national ecosystem, visit the 1100 Altitude Wetland Nature Discovery Trail which is in front of the '1100 Road Service Area'

Jeju 1,100 Altitude Wetland is a representative highland wetland in Korea. This wetland is of great significance in the Mt. Halla area where surface water is scarce. For its rich wildlife, including various endangered and indigenous species, beautiful landscapes, and geographical features, the wetland has been designated not only as one of the national Wetland Protected Areas, but also as Wetlands of International Importance under the Ramsar Convention.
