Seoul Metropolitan Library 서울도서관

Once the building of Seoul City Hall, Seoul Metropolitan Library offers a variety of books and nice atmosphere to read. It is also one of the places where Psy's "Gentleman" music video was shot.

National Library of Korea 국립중앙도서관

The largest, most representative and advanced library in Korea with more than 8 million books and state of the art digital media.

Bandi & Luni's Bookstore 반디앤루니스 서점

Another big bookstore. The main store is located inside Coex Shopping mall in Samseong-dong of Gangnam district in Seoul. Like the other big bookstores, famous authors and writers autograph events are often held.

Jeongdok Library 정독도서관

Situated in Bukchon Hanok Village, it is a beautiful public library with various cultural programs and events held every year.

Kyobo Bookstore (Gwanghwamun) 교보문고 광화문점

First opened in 1981, the most famous and popular bookstore in Korea. It not only sells a variety of Korean and foreign books, and other accessories as well.

Namsan Library 남산도서관

Opened in 1922, it is located in the middle of Namsan mountain in Seoul. It has a nice garden to stroll and it is especially beautiful in Spring and Summer when flowers bloom.

Youngpoong Bookstore 영풍문고

Offers about 1 million different books, Youngpoong is also a big franchise bookstore in Korea. The flagship store in Jongno has more to offer such as record shops and little stores with accessories and office supplies.
