Busan Jokbal (부산족발)

Busan Jokbal is a famous restaurant which serves chewy and glossy jokbal.
Jokbal is a pigs’ paw boiled with stock which is soft and chewy. Jokbal has a lot of gelatins which is known to be good for your skin care and anti-aging.
This restaurant is where people stand in line every day just to eat.
Why would someone eat Naengchae Jokbal in Busan Jokbal?
Korea has a lot of Jokbal restaurants. But Busan is the only region that sells ‘Naengchae Jokbal’ in South Korea.
‘Naengchae Jokbal’ is ‘Jokbal’ mixed with spicy Wasabi sauce, jellyfish slices, cucumber slices and carrot slices.
Truly, the plain Jokbal stinks thus you may be difficult to eat plain Jokbal.
A person sensitive to odor can eat Naengchae Jokbal, but you will have to endure the spicy Wasabi sauce.
If you like Wasabi, I recommend Naengchae Jokbal.
