Tartine Bakery & Cafe is an original dessert place with an American head chef D. Garrett Edwards. As soon as you enter the small alley where it's located, you'll soon find your appetite just by looking at the various pies and cakes displayed on the show window. The price isn't cheap but the taste is worth the value. Take a cup of tea or coffee and with just a small bite of the original Tartine cake, you'll be in heaven.

When I feel like I need something really sweet to eat, I always visit here. There are various kinds of tarts but my favorite one is the 'chocolate meringue pie'. It has chocolate cream on top of the pie with meringue on top! I tried the lemon too but it was way too sour for me. It may be a little expensive compared to other cafes but I think it's definitely worth it :)

A good selection of different pies and you can find kinds that it's hard to find elsewhere like rhubarb, pecan and blueberry. However they are very expensive and I find the pastry to be very bland. Seoul has much more to offer than this. To read more see http://afatgirlsfoodguide.com/2013/01/30/tartine/

This tart cafe is pretty amazing! The selection is good, and the food is really delicious. The only negative is the price: it's very expensive for a cafe.
