Wong Amat Beach is one of the most beautiful beaches in northern Pattaya. Located in Naklua, Bang Lamung District, it is a soft, clean sandy beach with beautiful clear water and coconut trees for shade.
While the beach still accepts quite a few tourists during the peak season with several large hotels and condominiums lined, it is still quieter and far less crowded than the more famous and occupied Pattaya Beach and Jomtien Beach.
Since Wong Amat Beach is within a 10 minute's drive from Pattaya downtown, it is good for those who want to stay near the beach to relax in the sun and have some quiet but also want to have an easy access to city entertainment and shopping.
