The Taste of Thailand is a large Thai restaurant located in Gyeongridan. The open plan style restaurant is decorated in with lots of dark wood and trinkets evoking feelings of South east Asia as soon as you walk through the doors. The menu is a huge collection of Thai dishes, including the favourties that we all know and love, along with some more unfamiliar ones. They have plenty of seating inside so it's great for big groups, as well as offering a take out service for those who want their food to go.

Last Friday night I was craving Thai food once again. However I decided to make a change and try Sukhavit – A taste of Thailand instead of my usual Buddhas Belly. A taste of Thailand was exactly what I got. It trumped Buddha’s Belly in pretty much every department and will now be my new Thai restaurant of choice. Not only do they provide a great take away service with an extensive menu far longer than the one at Buddha’s Belly, they also have a large restaurant that can accommodate many people.
