Jemulpo Club ,established in 1891,was a social club for Chinese, Japanese and other foreigners residing in Incheon. The brick building, designed by Russian architect Sabatin, offered a variety of entertainment facilities, including a social hall, billiard hall, reading room and a tennis court.
The building was, however, no longer used as a social club starting from 1914, with the abolishment of concessions from various foreign countries. In recent years, it was restored to its original appearance at the turn of the 19th century, and is currently used as a cultural space.
Recently, it holds one event every month for international culture exchanges. For instance, you can see many other dolls displayed as well as put on traditional outfit.
