The facts
"Seoul international fireworks festival" is held every year in Yeouido between the end of September and October. Many countries participated in this event last year such as, Canada, Japan and France .This festival was first held in 2000 And has now become one of the major festivals of Seoul. It starts at Hangang Park in the evening (about from 8 o'clock at 30 min intervals) .
Also various events are held during the festival such as face painting for children and nail art. You can also enjoy simple street foods etc. so you'll never be bored.
You can watch the fireworks from anywhere in Yeouido.
Insider Tip: Arrive very early as there will be huge crowds. Expect to stay an hour or two at the location at the performance as there traffic will be held to a standstill.

There is nothing more memorable than joining this Fireworks festival. From Daeheung St. to Yeouinaru St. really a challenge, as people really crowded to get into subways, hands up to Seoul government n police who makes this so nice in order. And the event itself so worth to watch, big remarkable fireworks in the night sky. Will be a yearly must go event~^^

Ugh, you ve got to be there maybe from the morning ... bring food because the street food there is ridiculously expensive.

the area was so crowded. i was surprised that people are willing to come very early to book spots. and they even came with full preparation: tent, mat, blanket, foods, everything. the fireworks was so pretty, the view from area near the stage must be prettier. but some subway stations around the yeouido hangang park were closed because it was really crowded, so we need to walk further to other stations
