[Exhibits and Facilities] Spanning a vast area, the museum showcases an impressive collection of 53 railway vehicles, ranging from historic steam locomotives to modern Shinkansen bullet trains. The exhibits are organized into several zones:
Promenade: An open-air display area featuring iconic trains.
Main Hall: A three-story building housing various locomotives, carriages, and interactive exhibits.
Twilight Plaza: Dedicated to the Twilight Express sleeper train, showcasing its luxury accommodations.
Roundhouse: A preserved 20-track roundhouse from 1914, designated as an Important Cultural Property, where visitors can view multiple steam locomotives.
Former Nijo Station: A historical station building relocated to the museum site, offering insights into early 20th-century railway architecture.
