Better than Beef is a pork belly restaurant located in Sinsa-dong, Seoul. As the name suggests, it proudly serves only pork that are aged via a special aging method. Unlike all the usual smoky barbecue restaurants, Better than Beef offers cooked pork just like steak.
The grilled Samgyeopsal (pork belly) comes with fried kimchi cooked in butter that complement perfectly.
If you order the "Original Grilled Samgyeopsal," you also get a great amount of side menus including fresh salad with perilla dressing, mashed potato with cheese at a very reasonable price.
Better than Beef also provides a selection of makgeolli (Korean rice wine) as well that goes well with the pork.
