The last hillside village in Seoul is Bukjeong village. You may know Seongbuk-dong since it is known as a place where diplomats and many wealthy people live. But right next to them, are people who may soon lose their homes. The government is planning to develop the neighborhood and the residents are fighting against the government.
Get off at Hansung Univ. and take the “Seongbuk03” bus at exit 6. When you arrive at the last bus stop you can see the view from uphill. At last bus stop is a supermarket and café in the village. You can meet some old people there. They are like my grandmother&grandfather;. When you walk through some narrow alleys, you may get a feeling of mystery. There are some places to see in the village such as the village gallery, rampart, and some historical places. You can also experience old Seoul in the Bukjeong village.

I was surprised to know that there is a uphill village in Seoul. When I went there, I really like it because I saw old Seoul and felt friendly atmosphere.
