[About the compensation]
  • In case of damage, we recommend taking and saving multiple photos showing the condition of your suitcase (handle, wheels, and both sides) before dropping off your luggage.
  • Since your luggage is jointly checked by the host company and the airline, compensation will be provided once the stage at which the damage or loss occurred is confirmed.
  • Damage and loss after the luggage is checked by the host company will be compensated according to the host company's policy. (Compensation limits vary depending on the extent of the damage or loss.)
  • Damage or loss occurring after the luggage is handed over to the airline will be compensated according to the respective airline's policy. (Please refer to the airline's compensation guidelines.)
  • Minor scratches are not eligible for compensation. We recommend using a suitcase cover to help prevent surface damage.

  3. If your baggage exceeds the weight limit, the staff at the Easy Drop counter will inform you in advance. Additional fees can be paid at the airport. Credit card payments are accepted. If you miss the payment at the airline counter, please pay at the boarding gate.
  4. If you complete check-in on the day before departure and enter the departure area early, then cancel your trip for personal reasons, Jeju Air will charge a Gate No-Show Fee of 200,000 won. This policy will be explained and notified in advance on-site.

FAQ

The service is available only for passengers flying with Korean Air, Asiana Airlines, Jeju Air, Tway, Jin Air, or Eastar Jet from Incheon Airport Terminal 1 or 2 on the same day, or passengers flying with Jeju Air or Jin Air from Incheon Airport Terminal 1 or 2 on the next day morning. Connecting flights, code-share flights, and flights to the USA, Canada, Guam, Saipan, and Jeju Air flights to China are NOT supported.
Passengers must complete self check-in (via web or mobile) before using the service for Korean Air and Asiana Airlines. A passport is required for kiosk check-in at the Easy Drop counter. Only one piece of luggage per person is allowed, in line with airline weight restrictions.
If your luggage exceeds the airline weight allowance, staff will notify you at the Easy Drop counter. Additional fees must be paid at the airport. Credit card payments are accepted at the airline counter or boarding gate.
Only passengers flying with Jin Air or Jeju Air may use thise service for next-day morning flights. Mobile check-in must be completed in advance.
Passengers taking next-day morning flights may drop off their bags any time before each store's closing time on the day before departure. Same-day drop-off is NOT available for next-day morning flights, so please make sure to drop off your bags on the previous day.
Compensation depends on where the damage or loss occurred:

- If it happens before the luggage is handed over to the airline, compensation is handled by the Easy Drop host company.
- If it occurs after the airline takes responsibility, compensation follows the airline’s policy.
Minor scratches are not eligible for compensation. Travelers are encouraged to take photos of their luggage before check-in and use a suitcase cover.
