  • Makgeolli requires 5~7 days of fermentation and you can take your own makgeolli home only if you stay in Korea for more than 5 days after the experience. If you are a short-term visitor, a pre-made bottle of makgeolli will be provided.
    • Your own makgeolli: 10% - 750ml
    • Pre-made bottle of makgeolli: 10% - 300ml
  • A minimum of 2 people are required to join the tour.
  • Please note that children under the age of 19 may participate in making the wine, but will not be permitted to sample the wine.

FAQ

Makgeolli requires 5–7 days of fermentation. You can only take your own makgeolli (750ml, 10% alcohol) home if you are staying in Korea for more than 5 days after the class.
If you are leaving Korea within 5 days, you will receive a pre-made bottle of makgeolli (300ml, 10% alcohol) to enjoy instead.
A minimum of 2 participants is required to join the class.
Yes, children under 19 years old can join the class and participate in making makgeolli, but they are not permitted to taste or sample the alcohol.
Get off at Konkuk Univ. Station (Line 2 & 7) and take Exit 5. Go straight for 3 blocks and turn right. Walk straight for about 1 minute and you will find the Suguk workshop on your left.
