Information

Datos de interés

Chao Sam Phraya National Museum was built specially to collect and display the objects discovered from Wat Rachaburana.

When it had its opening in 1961, this museum became a very first national museum in Thailand. It was named after the King who ordered to construct Wat Rachaburana.
In addition to the ruins excavated from Wat Rachaburana, golden treasures found from Wat Maha That and cut heads of Buddha from most of the temples in Ayutthaya are being displayed here.

When you need a map of Ayutthaya, stop by the museum and get the brochure with the map attached.
If you become sick of a hot day of Ayutthaya but want to sightsee more, pay a visit !
