Descripción general

Begin a journey through time with this one day tour as you explore the old ruins and temples of Ayutthaya, which existed as a Siamese kingdom from 1350 to 1767 as one of the largest and most powerful kingdoms in the world. Ayutthaya is about 90 minutes away from Bangkok.

Be prepared to marvel at the world’s largest seated Buddha and a temple garden with a mirrored sermon hall portraying historical events of Siam and Buddha’s life. Then, you will take a guided stroll through the temples and ruins of Ayutthaya and learn the interesting history and anecdotal stories of the old kingdom. You'll especially be amazed by the spectacular scene offered by the Buddha's head in tree roots.

Enjoy your lunch overlooking the river (or optional on a river barge) before finishing off the tour with a stroll along the beautiful gardens of the Siamese Summer Palace.
