Visitors can see everything about Seoul from Joseon dynasty to modern era. It also holds special exhibition sometimes and some permanent exhibitions age by age.

its free admission for entering the museum and there is a park beside the museum where you can sit and enjoy the surrounding area

I was attracted to the museum when i saw statue of a mom and her children sending off her husband/son in a streetcar. Not entering the museum, but collections outside the buildings are also interesting. There are collections that describe the palace structure, shop structure of jongno market, and stone figures from joseon royal family

When you're sick of general museum in Korea. You must visit this museum. It's only for Seoul history and its things. Especially I really like old photos here.
