Korea's eastern province, Gangwon-do, has pointed peaks, steep valleys, high plateaus, and cliffs standing high above the ocean. Its famous destinations include Seoraksan National Park, Sokcho, Gangneung, Naksansa Temple, and Daegwallyeong Sheep Farm. The untouched nature is well preserved deep in the mountains embracing a sprinkle of humanization, mainly Buddhist temples. On the east end of the land, the coast that marks the beginning of the Pacific ocean offers lively beach holidays.
